摘要 Constructing dual photocatalytic systems integrating CO2 reduction with organic oxidation reoresents a promising strategy for achieving efficient redox cycling. However, such systems still face the challenges of severe charge recombination and limited CO2 adsorption capacity. Here, we introduce K+ doping into CdS to create structural asymmetry, thereby enhancing the built-in electric field and forming Lewis acid-base dual sites. Combined theoretical calculation and experimental characterization confirm that K+ incorporation strengthens the internal electric field, boosting charge separation and driving concurrent CO2 photoreduction and selective oxidation of phenylcarbinol. The optimal 0.1%K+-CdS sample exhibit enhanced intensity of internal electric field and charge density as compared to pristine CdS. Moreover, the engineered Lewis acid-base dual sites facilitate CO2 adsorption and activation via a K+C=OCd2+ interaction, which is beneficial to promote the rate-limiting step in CO2 reduction. Maximum photocatalytic efficiency was achieved over the 0.1%K+-CdS, which yielded CO at 3 mmol g-1 h-1 and benzaldehyde at 3.43 mmol g-1 h-1. These values surpass the output of the pristine counterpart by factors of 2.0 and 2.6, respectively. This work highlights internal‑field and acid–base site co‑engineering as a feasible route to improve coupled photocatalytic redox performance.
